My weekend was an interesting one.
We attended a good 'ole fashioned West Texas wedding.
I got an amazing, super cute pedicure.
And I'm 11,000 words in to my next book! I'm hooked and totally absorbed. I can hardly think of anything else.
It is currently entitled, "I"m With You," and I plan to release it in January of 2014.
I can't say what it is really about because it will ruin the story for you when you finally read it.
I haven't written a blurb on it as of yet--more to come on what it's about later. (without spoiling the story)
However, a performance this past week on So You Think You Can Dance has greatly inspired me. I can't stop listening to the song. It captures my heroine's feelings perfectly.
Here is is: (song and performance)
If the video doesn't work here on my blog, just go here:
So, yes, just like For Nick, this one will be a tear jerker and deal with some pretty heavy emotions.
But, it will, as always, have a happy ending.
Hope you had a great weekend!
I'm uber excited for your new book, and that video makes me already know I'll love it. I love the emotion in that song. That's what I love about your books too--the emotions I feel when I read them.
ReplyDeleteI love drama and--anything that brings out my emotions. I don't like to feel depressed, but I love anything that brings out my emotions and touches my heart. So glad you enjoy my books, Charissa. It makes me so happy! Thank you!
DeleteI loved that dance and now I'm intrigued on the topic of your new book! Looking forward to hearing more about it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melanie. The dance and the song combined really set my imagination on fire and perfectly captured the emotions in my next book. Can't wait to share more about it as the book develops! Thanks for your comment!
DeleteThat was very nice. You have caught my attention and I will be looking for updates on your progress. LOL Very cute pedicure.
ReplyDeleteBest pedicure I've ever had! I guess that's why I decided to post such a strange thing on my blog!! I should've mentioned that!
DeleteGlad the video captured your attention. It inspired the emotion in my next book and I'm consumed with writing it! Love hearing from you, Sherry!
