FRIDAY FAVORITES

Friday Favorites include my favorite images on reading or writing!
(taken from Facebook)
 Enjoy!

My sister in law tagged me on Facebook and posted this on my page.

Above it she wrote:

I'm With You . . . For Nick . . .
Sierra . . . I Have People . . .

While reading is a huge escape for readers, imagine what writing is to authors! Yes, I escape into my writing. I have an empty nest and all of my children and grandchildren live far away.
Writing fills a huge void in my life.

What does reading/writing do for you?

    1. In other words, you escape! I used to escape into reading much more than I do now, because now I escape into my writing. It fulfills the same void though and I love it! It has brought me much happiness!

  3. Reading is the best escape from the ups and downs in my life. All the worrying over my hubby's health issues. All the memories of being an abused child. Reading takes me to a whole other world where I can feel like everything is okay and getting to know the characters is the best gift of all. If a book makes me feel like I'm right there in the story then I know I'm reading a winner. Your stories do that. They make me love the nice, kind, loving characters and want to smack the mean cruel ones. They make me laugh, cry, get angry and fall in love all over again. Thank you for being such an awesome author. I never read a paranormal book because I didn't think I would like it. But when I read Lancaster House and The Middle Aisle it changed my mind. I loved them so much and was shocked in the end where you find out something about the Dr that you never would have guessed. Thank you for that and for all the beautiful stories you have written. Can't wait for the new one now. Hugs to a very dear author and friend.. :D

    1. Thank you so much, Linda. Both reading and writing bring me happiness in my life too.
I'm so sorry about the tough times in your life. I'm glad my books have been able to help in some small way. Very rewarding to hear. Thank you for sharing that with me, it means so much.
I'm not really into paranormal either. Writing about it was wandering off into unknown territory. I found I really enjoyed it. But I doubt I'll write anything more that's paranormal, unless a new story comes to mind that I feel very strongly about. Otherwise I'll stick to more contemporary romance mixed with a little suspense. THANK YOU again for your kind words, today and always. You're the best. I appreciate your messages so much. They always lift me up and give me confidence. Thanks for being a fan, and a friend.
