Friday Favorites include my favorite images on reading or writing!

Enjoy!
I couldn't resist this image!
Maybe this will give us each a little giggle as we start our weekend!
I'm beta reading for an author friend right now.
So here's my answer:
HALFWAY BETWEEN HOPE AND THE HIGHWAY . . . WITH A CHAINSAW
Of course, I'm also working on my next novel . . .
CHASING FIREFLIES . . . WITH A CHAINSAW
Hahahahaha!
Ha ha. I used to do this same thing with the hymns at church when I was a kid. I would add "in the bathtub" to each title and sit there and quietly giggle to pass the time.
ReplyDeleteThat's cute. I haven't heard of that before. Great way to keep kids quiet during church--unless those giggles get out of control, which in my family is quite possible!
DeleteGood one ladies.
ReplyDeleteMortal Musing....with a chain saw.
Toxic...with a chain saw.
I am currently reading two books: Mortal Musings by Aria Glazki and Toxic by Kristine Mason.
Have a fantastic weekend.
I wasn't expecting such a response to this meme! I don't usually get a lot of comments on Friday Favorites. Love your titles, Sherry. If I read two books at once, I start to confuse plots. I'm just not that talented!!
DeleteElla, The Slayer....With a chainsaw!
ReplyDeleteLOL That works pretty good.
Have a wonderful weekend, Taylor.
I think your title wins for best answer, Laura! I think I'll just stay out of Ella's way!!
DeleteLOL Probably a good idea!
DeleteDaughter of Smoke & Bone....with a chainsaw
ReplyDeletePride, Prejudice and Cheese Grits....with a chainsaw
Your titles made me laugh out loud, Rose. Thanks for playing along. It's fun to do something that brings a smile to everyone's face!
DeleteLord Fenton's Folly...with a chainsaw!
ReplyDeleteMurder on Sister's Row...with a chainsaw!
Perfect!!
The title for the Murder story works a little too well and gives me the shivers!! The Folly one cracks me up!
DeleteMy dad probably wouldn't find this amusing at all. He accidentally hit his ankle once with a chainsaw and ended up in bed for the next six weeks while his wound healed. He was very, very lucky though! He healed perfectly. Chainsaws are nasty little things! But added to a cover title, they become a great source of amusement!
Oh my goodness, no, he wouldn't! Good thing it wasn't worse! These are very funny though. I should go through my bookshelves and rename them!
Delete"Chasing Fireflies ... with a Chainsaw", talk about shooting with cannons at sparrows. :D
ReplyDeleteMine would be
Frankenstein, or the modern Prometheus ... with a Chainsaw.
Brave new world ... with a Chainsaw.
Hello Old Folkie! Love your online name. I feel like an Old Folkie, well I am one too!
DeleteLove the comparison for the Chasing Fireflies title. Too funny!
