Congratulations to last week's WORDLESS WEDNESDAY winner: Fayth!

I liked her answer entitled:

ON THE HIGHWAY TO LOVE

To view, go here.

Wordless Wednesday is actually filled with words--the words, thoughts, and feelings that pictures or images evoke within each of us without uttering a single word!

What WORD/WORDS does this picture evoke within you?

Or, in other words, "TITLE THIS IMAGE."

I'll start: "MAKE TIME FOR LOVE"

    1. So very true, Megan! This resonates with me today.
I just got off the phone with my daughter and we spoke for nearly two hours. I'm late to sit down at my computer and get to work, but I don't regret a single moment!

Okay, sooo not my answer, but I couldn't resist saying this: Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives. :P
    Okay, now for my answer...
My love for you is infinite. Just turn the hourglass over when it runs out.

    5. I admit, I was hooked on Days of Our Lives at one time in my life!!! Then I had children . . . and, well, all my time slipped through an hour glass!! But I do love that you mentioned that iconic saying, Natalie! Made me smile! I love that Christy and Rita thought of it too!
I also love your actual answer, Natalie! Wonderful concept!

    6. Thank you!! :)
When I was younger, I'd watch the soaps with my mom, who was a stay at home mom until I was in 6th grade, and my grandparents (my mom's mom and dad - I think my grandpop enjoyed them more than my grandmom, haha!). So I got pretty much the full spectrum. When I was in high school I religiously watched Passions (which most people didn't like because it wasn't as true to life, as there was a witch) and one other, but now I can't remember which one!!

    7. They are very addictive! I love that your grandpop got into them!
In high school, my sister and I got hooked on General Hospital and the whole famous '"Luke and Laura" plot. We used to RUN home from the bus stop everyday to catch the last fifteen minutes. Those were the days!

    8. Haha, I'm not sure if my grandpop yelled at the television more when he was watching soaps or when he was watching sports. Both involved swearing :P
Haha, too funny!! I didn't run home, because I taped them on a VHS every day lol! And I looked at all the soaps that were on NBC (because the other soap I watched came on right before Passions), and it WAS Days of Our Lives that I watched :)
I actually never watched General Hospital. Most of the family watched DOOL, Bold & The Beautiful, ...I'm sure there's others :P

    9. Too funny!
As for VHS, well, that reveals my age. When I was in high school, we didn't have a VCR to tape shows! They came about shortly thereafter though. Times have sure changed. The ease of watching shows nowadays is fabulous!
I was hooked on the nighttime soap opera, Knott's Landing, for a while. Loved all the drama and angst. But it would've been fun to watch them alongside your grandpop and hear him yell at the TV! Best entertainment ever!

    10. Aw, it's okay :) I feel old too, because nowadays kids don't even KNOW what a VCR is...meanwhile, my boyfriend had to teach me how to use his DVR (we don't have one).
The ease is nice, yes, but I can't help to think that I would be watching way less T.V. if it weren't for that :( I AM working on cutting down T.V. time though!! The other day my mom came home from work and we were going to watch a show on On Demand because it wouldn't work the night before. She asked me if I had checked yet that day if it worked. I told her no, that I hadn't had the television on for even a minute yet. She was like ?!?!?!
I've heard of Knott's Landing, but I never saw it.
Haha, yeah, it was a lot of fun with him :) Unfortunately, he died a few years ago. But this year, on Easter, I said to my mom and grandmom, "Don't worry, he's still here. He's in me when I watch sports!!" Except I don't swear like he did... :D

    11. Good for you! Too much TV isn't good for anyone!
That being said, after a day of work, I love to relax in front of the TV. It's my "wind down" time.
Sorry to hear about your grandpop. Those special memories keep him alive in your heart.

    12. Thank you, I appreciate it. It was a little easier to handle (not that it was EASY, by any means) because we had basically lost him a year or so earlier. He had Alzheimer's, and he just wasn't the same person anymore. I'm not sure if he knew exactly who I was anymore, but he was always happy to see me, all the way to the end. That meant a lot to me.
I love to watch sports, and I have a few shows I watch with my mom/parents (all crime-y shows) and two with my boyfriend (Gotham because it's my favorite superhero!! [but it is starting to get a little too creepy for me...] and we watch New Girl together). Other than that, I will watch game shows (Wheel Of Fortune everyday; the others not as regular) and older shows like Leave It To Beaver, Father Knows Best, Bachelor Father. But the older aren't on that often, so I don't have to worry about overloading on those :) Haha, I feel like you know my entire life now!! :P
But it is definitely nice to watch T.V. with your family :) Although my dad yells when I talk...lol!!

    13. Just to clarify something...I wrote "mom/parents" because some of them I watch just with my mom, some I watch with both of them. Just so you don't think I'm crazy :D
