  1. Hi Taylor!!!

I love romance 'cause it moves the heart... and I like it adult 'cause it's bigger & realer, but I like it clean 'cause there's only one guy I like to be with like that and I already got him here, all to myself.

    Thx for the giveaway!! :-D

  2. Hmmm didn't record my first comment so I will try again.

I like clean romance because, first - I am a Christian, and second - erotica or graphic sex in books is a huge turn off for me, I feel like I should cover my eyes!
I love the whole romance part - the holding hands, the first kiss, the anticipation, all that is so much more romantic to me. I have read some books without any sex at all and they still made me blush because they were so romantic!

    Very nice giveaway!

    1. You make some good points! I agree. The romance is what I want to read about, not the sex. Great comment! Thanks!

  3. I like clean romance because it is clean, no erotica or porn and more often than not, clean romance actually has a story plot. A plot were readers can escape for a few hours reading something good like watching a HallMark movie.

    1. So very true! I need a plot along with my romance too! Thanks for your thoughts!

  4. I like clean romance because I can get my romantic fill in public. I like "unclean" romance too, but would feel really awkward reading that on the bus or in Starbucks lol

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. I know what you mean! I can't believe one way in my life, and then write or read about another way of life! The two extremes don't mesh! Thanks for your comment, Rebecca!

  7. Thanks for the giveaway! Romance is definitely in the air and I think a good example of a strong romantic novel is "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie and Claire are EPIC.
Clean is always nice because it doesn't ruin our imagination by describing everything.
    Happy Valentine's Day!

    1. Thanks for your thoughts, Meghan. Your comment reminds me of one of the reasons why I like clean romance. I think some things are best left to the imagination!

    1. Good point! I like a book where the characters have depth. Otherwise I'm not emotionally invested in their relationship. Thanks, Teri!

    1. I think we all want to believe that true love really does exist. It's refreshing, heartwarming, and lifts our spirits. Reading a romance lets us experience falling in love by proxy. Thanks for your comment, Sarika!

  10. I like clean romance because there is more of a plot and the characters than in erotica or extra steamy romance books. When I read a book and a graphic sex scene comes up, I skip it. It's cheesy and I just don't enjoy it. I'd rather have a book leave something to the imagination.

  11. I find the in detail stuff, just too much. I don't need to know all that, just the basics. Just no need for it, I think, esp. being Christian.

    1. The details are too much for me too! Too personal and I feel as though I'm invading someone's privacy. Some things are best left behind closed doors! Thanks for your comment, Corey!

  12. There's no need to hide them when company or children are near. Too much work. just give me the story.

    1. So true. I don't want to read anything that I would be embarrassed to share with my grown children! If you have to hide your books, something's wrong! I appreciate your comment, Andalene.

  13. I like the cleaner romance books because they have more of a story that you can actually get into rather than the erotica books. I think of it this way: Clean romance books are the chick flicks/romantic movies we watch and the erotica books remind me of adult movies. I just can't get into the erotica books. Thank you for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!

    1. Good comparison. I wouldn't watch adult movies, therefore I don't want to read about the subject matter either! Thanks, Lisa!

  14. I like the story and the characters and their innocence takes me back to a time in my life that I don't get to revisit often. It's also something I like to keep on my bookshelf for my own daughter to read

    1. I feel that if I wouldn't want my daughter to read it, then I shouldn't be reading it either! Thanks, Jolene!
