MONDAY MUSINGS

WORK:

I've been working hard on my new novel, GIRL OF MINE, and it's coming along nicely.

I HAVE PEOPLE is now with the ebook formatter and the new and improved version along with a new front and back cover will be finished shortly! Besides a new cover, the new and improved version includes a few edits and a fancier ebook format.

The audiobook for SIERRA is officially complete and will be available soon. It has been fun to hear my book come to life, although time consuming to listen to and approve each chapter.

LIFE:

I get to have this cute little guy with me for the next two weeks!

So, if I'm not around much, this is why. I'm going to be BUSY!
Taking a break will be good for me. I'll be able to approach my new manuscript with fresh eyes.
Time to break free from the office and my computer, sit back, and enjoy life for awhile.

Enjoy your Monday!

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

THE GOOD:

THIS REVIEW OF I'M WITH YOU

(THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS REVIEWER HAS DONE A REVIEW ON ONE OF MY BOOKS. SHE ALWAYS ADDS IMAGES TO HER REVIEWS AND I LOVE THEM! THANK YOU, ATHENA!)

This book gets a 10 from me!!

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Sometimes life knocks us down and it's really hard to get back up again. That's what happened to your Mom and me...

What would you sacrifice for your child's life? For some, that answer is easy and for others, well, they may need some time to think about that!

I don't want to give too much away with this story, but I do want to give you enough info that you'll want to pick this book up and read it ASAP!!!

Chloe and Mark's marriage is not doing so well. They lost their baby a year ago at birth and this devastating hardship has put such a strain on their marriage that they don't know how to recover from it! Chloe learns that when tragedy strikes everyone handles it differently, including her husband. Her friends have seemed to disappear and with her sister living in Germany, her means of support is via phone.

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Mark hits Chloe with news that will upset her, but forces her to wake up and try to move forward from her sorrow. With that, Chloe will find support in the most unexpected person and her journey from that point on will take you on an unforgettable ride! My heart burst with happiness, sadness, and when I thought I figured out how Chloe's story would end, boom, the story took an unexpected turn that tore my heart open! But not to worry, because Chloe's story doesn't end there.

This story was Amazzzzzing that I devoured this book and couldn't get enough of it! I cried, I smiled and I could feel every emotion Chloe was faced with chapter after chapter. This is the second book I have read from Taylor Dean and both books have been unforgettable! If you have not read one of Taylor Dean's books, you are truly missing out.

*****CAUTION*****
The author does caution readers that although this is a romance novel, it also deals with sensitive baby loss grief. If you are sensitive to this issue, then this book may not be for you.

THE BAD

My husband accidentally hit a SKUNK with his car. Evidently its last act on this earth was to spray the car that brought on his demise. Every effort was put into this act. I'm sure it was the best spray it has ever done in his entire life. If you're going down, you may as well go down with a bang, right?
This was last Monday.
The car AND the garage still smell something awful. If we open the garage door, the smell permeates into the house. I can't even enter the garage without holding my breath. It is that BAD!
Ugh!

Enough Said

No, actually, not enough said. I have no idea why you didn't like I'm With You.

On a good note, however, the new word count of my newest novel, GIRL OF MINE, is: 38,000!! It's moving along and I'm obsessed.
And . . .
The audiobook of SIERRA is almost done!
Yay!

Have a great Monday, everyone!!

MONDAY MUSINGS

Special thanks to all for the brand new amazing reviews of
I'M WITH YOU!

This book is very personal to me, and the wonderful reviews thus far have been amazing! It has been my honor to share this story with the world to increase awareness of Trisomy 18 and baby loss grief.
I've never received so many five star reviews one after the other. Usually the reviews are interlaced with the occasional two or three star reviews.
Below is not all of them, but you get the idea.
Very rewarding.

I'm with you was so moving and realistic, I read it all in one day. Just could not stop. She had me questioning, wondering, crying, laughing (love the princess bride quotes!). Dean's writing style is unique and I highly recommend this book

From the beginning to the end, with all the twists and turns ... I was unable to put the book down once I started.. Lol and as I write this at 8:02am.. With the new light of day coming through my blinds.. I have a bittersweet yet satisfied feeling I rarely get from a book.. I laughed, I cried , even had my own personal moment of mourning my own first born.. What a beautiful story.. Thank you so much for sharing .. THANK YOU. Jamielynn Tashjian ;-) xoxo

Read it. You won't regret it. Not your typical romance. This book has substance, depth, and a HEA.

I rarely ever take the time to write a review. However, this book touched me so deeply and I still think about it a few days after finishing. To say the least, this story was heart wrenching and I truly "felt" the pain and sometimes the joy that Chloe and Jack were feeliing. This book is making it on my extremely short "do not delete" list. I HIGHLY recommend this book and please be sure that you read this book when you are able to completely get involved with it and aren't afraid to shed some tears.

I am in awe of this book. I read a lot of books, on average at least one per day. Most of them are easily forgotten. This beautifully written and poignant story will not be forgotten. My husband and I lost three babies to miscarriage and the grief was terrible. We grieved in very different ways but thankfully our relationship survived. I cannot overstate the quiet beauty of this book. This is not a story of vampire or werewolves. There is no swashbuckling pirate or marauding Vikings. What this is is an actual true love story. It is heartbreaking and heartwarming. Please read it, but have a tissue handy.

Wonderful, heart breaking and emotional. This is sticky subject matter and I believe this author handled it very well.

I really loved this book and didn't want to put it down. It has a good plot, very thoughtful and sensitive with great characters, nice morals and a bit of drama. I highly recommend this book if you like to read romance without descriptive sexual scenes.
