No, No, No don't write in it and no muffin crumbs. I am weird about my books, I take good care of them and they look like they're brand new even after I've read them several times. Just call me a weirdo. lol
I hear you, Rita! My husband is the exact same way. His books are pristine. If he buys a hardback, he removes the cover so it won't get ruined while he reads the book. Me, I tend to use the cover as a bookmark! It makes him cringe. But I mostly read on my kindle nowadays! Thanks for your comment!
I also remove the book cover. Now my keyboard is another matter. Crumbs and greasy fingerprints stained orange from my Doritos! LOL Sherry told me to buy some canned air to blow out those pesky crumbs.
With every crumb and drink there is! At least that's what I do :)
