This posted yesterday, but I'm posting it again today. For some reason, when I post two things in one day, the email reminder doesn't go out for the second post. So, if you missed it yesterday, here it is again!
Aren't those great covers? I'm excited to read each and every book.
The prequel novella is available for pre-order HERE.
You can read more about each book or add the series to GOODREADS HERE.
My sisters
think I’m crazy.
But,
I’ve never forgotten the mysterious woman from my childhood who told me Paul is
the name of my one true love.
She
told me to search far and wide for him.
I
haven’t stopped looking ever since.
When
I stumble across an article about a successful American entrepreneur named Paul
who lives and works in China, I’m intrigued. When the opportunity to teach
English in China presents itself on the same day, I know it’s not a
coincidence.
It’s
destiny.
My sisters
say I’m chasing a dream.
Just
like the fireflies we tried to catch on the warm summer evenings of our youth,
the dream seems beyond my grasp. Will my quest for the elusive Paul always be just
short of fulfillment?
My sisters
tell me it’s a fool’s errand.
Until
I remind them of the day we saw the Red Bird.
The
memory silences them.
The
Red Bird Incident remains
inarguable—and proves my search for Paul is not a silly fantasy.
So pretty. Both the collection and Chasing Fireflies! I added yours to my TBR and you know I want to read it. LOL The whole collection sounds wonderful and I recognize a few of those authors.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! I'm so impressed with how all the covers turned out. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to participate in this series. Such a thrill. Thanks for adding it on Goodreads and I hope you enjoy it! The release date seems very far away right now, and yet it seems so close when I look at my deadlines!
DeleteThis is so exciting. I agree with you that the release date seems so far out, but as a writer, I know it will come all too fast.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it makes me feel like July is just around the corner! But my book is almost ready to send out to beta readers--and hopefully it won't require tons of edits!
DeleteWhen will your next book be released? I'm excited to see what cover you choose for it!
I remember chasing fireflies when I was a kid in Michigan. Great title and cover. Added to my Goodreads mountain. LOL
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
Haha. My TBR list is a mountain too. But it gives me so much to look forward to!
DeleteThe first time I saw fireflies was when I lived in Maryland for a short time. I was completely enchanted by them. When the idea came to me to use Chasing Fireflies as a title, I fell in love with it. Thanks for adding it to Goodreads, Sherry!
