ReplyDeleteAnd Mary your answer was the first thing that came to my mind too! Haha.
We love sales. (Couldn't help myself with this one)
All love is precious.
Every heart is worthy of love
Don't sell your heart.

Don't bet on love.

ReplyDeleteA tisket, a tasket, put those hearts in my basket...please.
sherry @ fundinmental
I LOVE it! Such a creative answer, Sherry! How will I ever choose a winner?!
DeleteThank you everyone!! :)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Now I have the Beatles and the Tisket, Tasket song stuck in my head! Sorry, Christy, I don't know the JLo song! I like to pace around the house singing the version of A Tisket, A Tasket that you learn as a child :)
You break it, you buy it.
Love is a valuable thing.
And a quote from the Valentine's Day episode of Last Man Standing (which cracks me up :D This episode was on this evening)(this just reminded me of it):
Okay, I cant find that quote...so here's a summary of it lol
Eve, the youngest daugher says to her older sister (who is not the brightest bulb in the bunch...) about getting an expensive present for Valentine's Day, but Kyle (Mandy's boyfriend; Mandy being said older sister) carved her a bird out of soap (which sadly became all bubbles in the pouring rain before he could give it to her). Mandy says that she would rather have something heartfelt than have her guy go into debt over a meaningless gift (to which Eve actually responds "Am I the only one who understands this holiday?" which was funny...but not the point here! lol)
I just thought that was really sweet :) I just wish that I could have found the quote for you guys....

Off to sing the Beatles and the Tisket song! lol!!! Love you guys!!!
I haven't watched Last Man Standing, but I can picture how the "soap bird" would turn to suds in the rain. So sad, and yet makes me want to burst out laughing. I would have to agree that it was a heartfelt gift and worth more than spending a bunch of money! Guess I don't understand the holiday!! But I get how this image would remind you of this concept, Natalie!
DeleteI love both of your answers. So perfect!
Congrats on your win last week! It was the easiest week for me, when it came to choosing a winner. Your answer was THE ONE!! This week, however, will be hard. Several people have given some really good answers. So now I will go agonize over who should win!!
Aw, thank you! That's really sweet of you :)
DeleteObviously I am writing this after you HAVE picked the answer for this picture, but I can imagine how hard it was for you!
I wanted to giggle and cry at the same time when they realized all that was left was soap suds. Poor Kyle :(
Last Man Standing is a hilarious show (Tim Allen, of course! lol!), but if you are sensitive about political jokes, I would stay clear of it. Honestly, I hear rude comments about Republicans so often, I'm kinda immune to it by now. And it's a refreshing change to hear comments against the Democrats instead of the Republicans (I'm basically the only Republican in my family lol). Anyway, there one person's opinion, so if you can just take the jokes with a grain of salt, then you're golden! I do recommend the show, though! :)
And I agree. I'd rather have something lovey, or even something that the person just knows I want super badly, than just going and looking for an expensive gift. A lot of times I get a cute teddy bear or Edible Arrangements from my boyfriend for Valentine's Day :)
they're**
Deleteurg!! What is with my typos today?! lol!
I'll check out the show. I'm always looking for a good show to watch in the evening. I love to veg at the end of the day and just relax. You're right, the political jokes are so abundant, it's hard to feel offense anymore! (And if it's against the democrats, my hubby will love it!!)
