I came up with the idea last year to write a sweet, light, and fluffy Christmas romance, infused with a little mystery. I wanted to publish it last Christmas, but it wasn't quite ready.

I owe a very special thank you to my mother for her help with the interesting backstory included in the pages of this novel. Thanks to her love of genealogy, I was able to weave a little family history about my ancestor, James Lockwood, into my story. 

Incidentally, a framed sketch of his Book Bindery and Printing Office hangs proudly on my mother’s office wall, just as it does on my heroine’s office wall.

Also, my mother requested that I write a Hallmarkish novel, one with both romance and mystery.

So, here it is.
