On tour with Prism Book Tours
Feeling forgetful? Can't remember where the heck you set down your keys? Your glasses?
We've all been there.
But . . . what if you forgot your life?
What if that life wasn't worth remembering?
In spite of the happy cover, I HAVE PEOPLE deals with the sensitive issue of domestic abuse. It is about learning to recognize a good man versus a bad one. It's about second chances and finding love, real love.
The overpowering message behind I HAVE PEOPLE is that verbal, mental, and physical abuse is NOT OKAY! EVER!
Read along and learn Holly's story. It will change your life.

I'm positive I use cliches all the time, but for the life of me nothing comes immediately to mind.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I wonder where 'for the life of me' came from? I love finding out the meaning behind cliches. Good luck on the giveaway, Mary!
DeleteI don't think this is a cliche but I use the word "forlorn" all the time and my hubby thinks that is so funny. But I do say my cat looks so forlorn. Maybe I could use my favorite "on top of the world" and say "underneath the bottom of the world" or is that to way out there. lol
ReplyDeleteI love "I Have People" as you know Taylor. It is my 2nd favorite of your books. :)Such a sweet and endearing and wonderful story with meanness and sadness thrown in too. Loved it so much and it is a very close 2nd to my fav "Sierra"
I do not feel 'forlorn' because your first favorite of my books is my favorite too! Glad you like I Have People too though. Otherwise I'd be underneath the bottom of the world. You're so funny! Thanks for your comment, Linda!
DeleteI sometimes use "hold your horses" and the kids look at me like I'm nuts. Can't wait to read "I Have People". Thanks for the giveaways.

I always used 'hold your horses' with my kids too! I'll have to look up where that one came from! Thanks for your comment and good luck on the giveaway!
DeleteI do use cliches, but I also have to think real hard before I say the word "specific" because my dad struggled with that word. It always came out as "pacific". I sometimes catch myself saying it too.
ReplyDeleteI love your covers! They make me think of words like creativity and imagination.

Thank you, Rose! I'm thrilled that you love my covers!
DeleteDon't feel bad, I've heard many other people say 'pacific' when they try to say 'specific.' I think it's a common problem!!
I always use Don't you know almost after every thing I say..That's what my sister's tell me. Don't you know!! Love the cover and Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I know a lady who says, "you know what I'm saying," after practically every sentence. I say, embrace it, it's part of your character and makes you memorable! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm glad you like the cover, don't you know!
