I SHIELD MY HEART FROM HURT

  4. Congrats, Rita! Okay, I can't come up with a good one, so I'm stealing this from Emma Lazarus because it seems like you're sending the brokenness somewhere.

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

    2. I don't mean to play favorites (that's Taylor's job!! lol), but this is absolutely my favorite this week. I like how you thought outside the box (haha, no pun intended!) and went beyond just traditional love :)

  10. Congrats, Rita!
Sorry about missing last week. I realized while in bed late Thursday night, oops! I won't be here next week, either. My mom, grandmom, aunt, and I leave for Atlantic City Sunday morning after Mass. Five whole days of beach and pool time!! And a little bit of gambling, but I'm literally bringing a twenty dollar bill with me lol!! Hey, if you don't bring it, you can't spend it. That's my motto!!
Each broken heart is one closer to finding true love.
I keep a box full of my broken hearts stored away so that I don't forget the lessons I learned with those failed romances. (kind of wordy...but I like the sentiment with it :P lol)

    2. Thank you :)
We actually got to stay an extra night. I just got home a little bit ago. I didn't get near as much beach time as I wanted to due to weather, but it was still great :) I'm excited to start back up with WW next week! :)
