I liked her caption entitled:

Wordless Wednesday is actually filled with words--the words, thoughts, and feelings that pictures or images evoke within each of us without uttering a single word!
What WORD/WORDS does this picture evoke within you?
Or, in other words, "CAPTION THIS IMAGE."
I'll start: "Love takes effort"
My favorite caption wins a $5.00 Amazon gift card.

ReplyDeleteOur love needs a little bit of TLC.
I love that caption so much, Laura! BTW, I downloaded the free Baboon in the Balloon ebook you featured on your blog and read it to my grandson. He loved it! Thanks for the heads up.
DeleteA great answer Christy.

"Bloom and grow forever" - the song Edelweiss is stuck in my head now.

I always LOVE a reference to anything having to do with the Sound of Music. One of my favorite movies! I love both of your captions, Mary!
DeleteI think that's my favorite song from that movie!! I always try to get the needle to hit the record just when that song comes on....not the best for my record, but...oops!! *sheepish smile*
DeleteThe both of you might be interested in the book I'm reading!! It's the true story behind The Sound Of Music. So far, very very good :)

Thank you, Natalie. I would love to read the true story.
DeleteIt's rare to find someone who still listens to records! I still have all of my records saved; both albums and 45s. I even have a record player. But I never listen to them anymore, but I should. It's so fun!
Congrats Christy!!

I LOVE that caption, BN. It reminds me of the Ed Sheeran song, "Thinking out Loud." I love that song.

DeleteCongrats Christy! And everyone who has won the last few weeks!
ReplyDeleteSorry for my absence!! I've missed you!!! Schoolwork is taking a TON of my time, and then I was sick for like two weeks (just a bad cold, nothing too major, but I definitely got behind in schoolwork). UGH!!
Look at what our love has created.

Natalie! I'm so glad you're back. I thought we lost you for good! I missed you too! I can certainly understand how school work can keep you busy and sometimes overwhelmed. Add in getting sick and it's a recipe for stress overload. So glad you are doing better now. Take care and stop in whenever you can!
DeleteAnd I LOVE your caption this week!!!!
