I didn't realize that WW started again! I think this is the first week that I received the email. Oops!!
    E.T. phone home.
Haha, yes, that's my answer! Because home is where your heart is <3
Okay, that is legitimately all my brain can come up with tonight. I'm too tired from work lol.

    1. Missed you too, Natalie, and I'm glad you're back to join us!
We just started up again last week, so you only missed one week. Sorry you didn't get the email. I don't know why it doesn't work every once in a while.
Loved the movie ET and I love your answer! Now go get some rest!

    2. Lol! I did go to bed early :P I tried to work on my novel a little, but my brain was just too sluggish, so I basically typed up a little summary for the scene I was working on and called it a night.
I couldn't even tell you the last time I watched E.T....might have to crack that baby out soon! Family movie night!! (haha, who am I kidding? It would probably just be me and the dog lol)
I hope that you had a great summer vacation!!

    3. I'm really excited that you are working on a novel! That's wonderful! I didn't know you were a writer. Are you already published or is this your first novel? What's it about?
Yeah, I haven't watched ET in a really long time either. But I remember it being a big deal when it first came out.

    4. Okay, finally!! Got homework done and could respond :P
This is not my first novel that I'm writing, but I am not yet published. I cannot remember a time when I WASN'T working on a novel, to be honest...but I have ADHD and it definitely shows up when I'm trying to work on a novel, haha! I get so into one, then I get a new idea that I'm really excited about and shift gears, and then I get distracted by something else...etc. etc. etc. (Yes, that was a The King And I reference ;) lol)
This one is about a guy in a professional band who, in the past, was wrongly accused of a horrid crime, and turned to drugs, alcohol, and anger to handle it (even though the charges were eventually dropped). And then their manager or whatever (I have to do some research on that end haha) dumps their band and this new manager father-daughter team takes them on, and the daughter is in charge (her first time on her own!) and they fall in love. This is different than my usual, because it's a little bit more risque...I'm not sure that I'm actually going to have a sex scene (although it has gotten close already in the writing!), but at the very least there is sexual tension and very foul language. Even though I do not normally write like that, I had to be true to the characters...and what rock god doesn't swear?! LOL!
I do touch on touchy subjects a lot, such as abuse, eating disorders, depression. I'm starting two different ones that deal with rape. But I normally have younger characters than the band one I'm working on, so I can get away with milder language and stuff. I don't really swear in real life, so it feels so weird typing swear words! But like I said...I have to be real to the characters!
Thanks so much for your support!! *hug* :)

    5. That's great that you love to write and are always working on a novel, Natalie. Keep on writing! I bet one day you'll be into one of your books enough to finish it. It's hard to stay focused on one story at a time sometimes, even for me. Regardless, all that writing you are doing is the best way to hone your craft! I hope to see you published one day!

    6. Thank you so much! That means a lot to me :) <3
It honestly isn't that I'm not into them enough. I just get distracted all the time, no matter what, no matter how into something I am. It's just my nature, haha! But eventually I'll finish them all :)
